Costata Romanesco (Cucurbita pepo) is an Italian heirloom zucchini known for its tender, ribbed squash and sweet, nutty flavor. This variety produces a high yield of zucchinis that are perfect for grilling, sautéing, zucchini noodles, or baked goods.

Planted these in late May and by mid-July we were picking a few ribbed beauties every other day, the sweet nutty flavor really comes through when you grill them. Germination was quick and every single seed took, which is more than I can say for other packets I've tried.
