Three weeks in and the first true leaves are finally showing — this one really does take its time, but the stalks are already thick and sturdy. Love that it's organic and I can use the petals for tea later, which is exactly why I picked these over the nursery ones.

Planted these in early spring and they took their sweet time, but once they settled in the purple blooms are gorgeous and I've already cut a few for tea. Even my clay-heavy soil didn't stop them from coming back stronger this year.

The purple petals are exactly the stunning pop of color my garden needed, and even though it took its time settling in, it’s clearly low-maintenance now that it’s established. I love that it’s organic and adaptable, since I’m far from a green thumb.
