The leaves arrived finely ground with that earthy, slightly bitter aroma I remember from Ayurvedic shops. I've been adding a pinch to my nightly face mask and my skin feels calmer by morning. Knowing it's Fair Trade and sustainably harvested makes me feel good about using it daily.
The powder is very fine and easy to mix into my nightly tea, though the earthy taste takes a bit of getting used to. I appreciate that it's Fair Trade certified, which was the main reason I chose this over cheaper options.
The texture is coarser than some other neem powders I've tried, which makes it a bit harder to dissolve in water. That said, the Fair Trade certification gives me peace of mind about where it comes from. It does the job for my occasional skin mask routine, just takes more stirring.
