Planted these in early spring and the slender red pods started showing up faster than I expected — the sweetness really comes through even when they're still green, and they dry beautifully for crushing into flakes.

The peppers themselves are prolific and have that nice sweet-heat balance, but germination was a bit spotty—only about half the seeds sprouted for me. Took a while to get going, though once they did the plants produced a solid batch of those slender red pods.
